Welcome to Eco Empires: Battle for the Earth, an immersive gaming experience developed by Carbify B.V. These Terms of Service govern your use of Eco Empires. By accessing or using the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using the game.
1. Account Registration and Security
1.1. Account Creation: To access Eco Empires, you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to register. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
1.2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
1.3. Account Sharing: Sharing your account or login details with others is strictly prohibited. Each account is intended for individual use only.
1.4. Single Account Policy: Each player may only own and play one account per game world.
1.5. Account Ownership: The owner of an account is the person whose email address is associated with the account. No member of Eco Empires’ staff will ever ask for your password.
1.6. Multiple Accounts: If you wish to leave your current account and create a new one, you must initiate the deletion of the old account and notify Eco Empires’ staff. You should not access the old account after accessing the new account.
2. User Conduct
2.1. Respectful Behavior: We encourage a friendly and respectful gaming environment. Any form of harassment, offensive language, or disruptive behavior towards other players is strictly prohibited.
2.2. Cheating and Exploitation: Cheating, hacking, exploiting game bugs, or using unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly forbidden.
2.3. Trading and Currency: Trading, selling, or transferring accounts, for money or even for free, is prohibited.
2.4. Circumvention and Encouragement: Attempting to circumvent the game rules or encouraging another player to violate the game rules will be treated as a violation and punished accordingly.
2.5. Behavior Standards: Players must always communicate in a polite manner. Abusive, defamatory, sexist, racist, or profane language is strictly forbidden.
2.6. Inappropriate Content: Inappropriate profiles, village names, or any other content may be edited by Eco Empires’ staff without warning. Any inappropriate content considered disruptive to the gaming experience can be sanctioned.
3. Payments and Refunds
3.1. Paid Features: Certain features within Eco Empires may require payment. Prices are subject to change and include applicable taxes.
3.2. Refunds: All payments made for in-game purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.
3.3. Prize Money: Eco Empires may offer prizes to winners of in-game competitions or events. The awarding of prizes is at discretion of Eco Empires’ staff, subject to careful review of all relevant data and information about the game. Carbify reserves the right to withhold or cancel prizes in cases of suspected foul play or violation of these terms.
3.4. Tax Responsibility: Winners of prize money are responsible for determining and complying with any tax obligations related to their winnings.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1. Ownership: All content, including but not limited to graphics, artwork, and game mechanics, are the property of Carbify B.V.
4.2. Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content within Eco Empires without explicit permission.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1. Indirect Damages: Carbify B.V. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Eco Empires.
6. Game Play Rules
6.1. External Programs: Eco Empires must be played using a conventional and unmodified browser. The use of scripts and/or bots to automate actions on the account or to resemble premium features is forbidden.
6.2. Program Errors: Errors in the game may not be abused to an account’s benefit and should be reported to Eco Empires’ staff. The abuse of any error is punishable.
6.3. Netiquette: The game is to be kept free of real-world politics and religion. Posting and displaying material not suitable for minors is forbidden. Messages within the game may only be published with the consent of both parties. Advertisements of any kind are not permitted.
6.4. Punishments: In the event of a violation of the game rules or the Terms of Service, an account will be banned and may be released with punishment according to the offense that occurred. Any losses during the time of a ban, including premium features, will not be reimbursed.
7. Privacy
7.1. Data Collection: We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7.2. Consent: By using Eco Empires, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Termination
8.1. Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or any game rules.
8.2. Consequences: Upon termination, you will lose access to your account, virtual items, and currency without compensation.
9. Changes to Terms
9.1. Updates: We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to you.
9.2. Acceptance: Continued use of the game after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
10.1. Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
